Sometimes

Sometimes, just out of the blue, something magical happens. Unexpectedly. You meet someone or you see something that changes your life forever: just takes your life in its hand, and turns it the right side up, like it was always meant to be, fills you up with hope and laughter and sunshine that you forget everything, the regret, the pain and all the sadness in all the world. And you become one. At peace. 

It’s so sudden that you didn’t see it come; it knocked you over like a ton of bricks, leaves you devoid of breath and gasping for air. For life. For the very energy that runs through your heart, through to your toes and to your soul. 

And it reminds you who you are, and what you are worth. It reminds you that you are whole and loveable and full of everything positive, things that you had long forgotten because you let yourself forget. Things that are you and only you. Remind yourself that you’re worth everything.

And you know you’re in love. In love with a person. With an idea. With a soul. With yourself. You just know it.
